Offbeat stores your puzzle progress, streak and settings in your own browser's local storage. That data never leaves your device and we cannot see it.

There are no accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no trackers and no third-party scripts. After the page loads it makes no network requests at all — you can confirm that yourself in your browser's network tab.

Clearing your browser data erases your stats permanently, and we have no copy.

One third party exists, and it is the host. The site is served by Cloudflare Pages, which terminates TLS and keeps standard request logs (IP address, time, and what was requested) as part of delivering any website. We do not read them and cannot link them to a player. That is a knowingly accepted trade for free static hosting, not a claim of zero third parties — the page is clean; the hosting is a service like any other. Why there is no cookie banner

There are no cookies. The local storage this game uses holds only your own game state, carries no identifier, and is never transmitted, which puts it under the strictly-necessary exemption. If analytics or ads are ever added, this changes and so will this page.
